  • Word of God
Oh, that you and I might get into the very heart of the Word of God, and get that Word into ourselves! As I have seen the silkworm eat into the leaf, and consume it, so ought we to do with the Word of the Lord—not crawl over its surface, but eat right into it […]
  • Speaking At Home
I am honored and humbled to be speaking at my home church (Crossroads Baptist Azle, Tx) this coming Sunday. The message will be “Putting God’s Word into Action.” If you do not have a home church or you are in the area, you are more than welcome to join us. Also, it is our end […]
  • Draw Close to The Father
Without Christ there is no way to know the One True Almighty God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). However, as a believer, if you find that you are struggling with some issue in your life and you need […]
  • Encouragement
For the past few months I have been taking a long walk almost every day.   Normally it is a three mile trek which takes me about an hour.   Even though it is somewhat strenuous, it is also spiritually uplifting.  You see, this is the time I take to listen.  However, I am listening to worship […]
  • “Exodus 3:10-14”
Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12 And he […]

Pastor Lloyd McCarroll Jr.

Minister of the Gospel

Since the time of my salvation I have had the call to preach and pastor.  This has been evidenced to me through the relationships that God has put in my life.  I believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant word of God, Christ centered and the absolute message of truth and salvation. I know the church needs a pastor to preach the Gospel in truth with grace.  It is my belief that the church needs a pastor to counsel Christians in these trying times with love and biblical truth.  The apostle Paul said this, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher” (Rom. 10:14)?  By the grace of God, I must do my best to preach the Gospel of Christ.

Furthermore, the Bible clearly states that lives are at stake.  The Gospel of Mark ever so poignantly says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15-16).  As a result, my mission is to live out a life that glorifies God Almighty.  In fact, I pray that as long as I am physically able, God will use me to share the love of Christ with others in whatever manner, place, or time He has chosen for me.
